Venus is often called Earth’s twin, yet its surface and atmosphere tell a radically different story. I am a planetary scientist who studies how such worlds are revealed through spacecraft data, physical modelling, and careful interpretation. My research focuses on planetary atmospheres—particularly Venus—using measurements and numerical simulations to understand extreme environments and their evolution. Beyond research, I am interested in how science is observed and communicated, including through photography. This site brings together my research, some background on Venus, visual work, and a more personal perspective on exploration and discovery.
